Terra Creta PDO Kolymvari Extra Virgin Olive  OIl, was analyzed for the Total Phenolic content , during ARISTOLEO competition, and  was found to be above 500 mg/kgr
 So not only authentic and natural, but very healthy as well.

Aristoleo® Awards is stepping into the international arena with its 2017 “Tasted, Tested and True” International Olive Oil Competition for highest phenolic EVOO taking place in Cyprus in March 2017.  What makes this competition unique is it will categorize oils according to olive varietals, which cross all borders. Olive oil will be first analyzed by using the Aristoleo Test Kit in conjunction with the Aristometer™ our latest product, a handheld spectrometer. Following the awarding ceremony of previous Saturday in Chania, for the Cretan Olive Mills competition, we are proud to announce that Terra Creta have received two awards.

"Gold Minoan Elea" for the Olive Mill operation and extraction methods, and

"Green Minoan Elea", for the Olive Oil bottling and distribution practices.

05/01/2016 Terra Creta certifies its operations for their carbon footprint

Terra Creta continues its innovation in the olive oil sector announcing the certification of its operations regarding their carbon footprint.
Working closely with IMAREM, all the production stages from the olive grove to the supermarket shelves were analyzed and the consumption of energy was measured. Terra Creta controls the life-cycle of the product and has set specific targets having a clear goal to minimize the carbon footprint of its products and help at the protection of the environment.



Furthermore, Terra Creta proceeded in a certification of its Social Responsibility Program which apart from setting measures for personnel management and product security.

 Anuga in Cologne from 10 to 14 October 2015 records an excellent number of registrations for all 10 trade fairs. A few months before it begins, the world's biggest and most important business platform for the international food industry is fully booked. Once again, around 6,800 exhibitors from around 100 countries are expected at the fair. Anuga spans the entire Cologne fair grounds, i.e. 284,000 m² of gross exhibition space.
