TERRA CRETA , TOP EXPORTS PROCESSING COMPANY FOR 2013
Awarded 1st place in category “PROCESSING” at Greek Export Awards 2013
Terra Creta, the most innovating olive oil company in Greece, has once again manage to gain a significant honorary distinction, by winning the 1st award in the “Processing” category at the Greek Exports Awards 2013 held on Friday 29/3/13 in Divani Apollon Palace & Spa in Kavouri/Athens.
The award ceremony was held during an event organized by Diplomatic, Financing & Trade Affairs Employees Union, under the auspices of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Development, Trade and Agriculture, and with the participation of all Greek export institutions and local Chambers of Commerce. The goal of this event was to highlight and reward Greek entrepreneurship, help in increasing productivity, competition and employment and also set an example for Greek enterprises.
Terra Creta was founded in 2001 in Chania and is currently operating at its new ultra-modern facilities in Kolymvari, Crete, Greece. Being export oriented, with a strong commitment to quality and innovation, the company has managed, within a very few years, to extend sales into more than 20 countries and win many international awards. Terra Creta was the first to develop and launch an online traceability system for its olive oil and, in cooperation with local farmers, produces consistently high quality extra virgin olive oil by applying innovative methods for extraction in its advanced olive mill.

International Conference 2012
Terra Creta has the pleasure to complete it's first International Conference, held from 11 to 14 October, in Kolymvari/Crete, the birthplace of Terra Creta and one of the finest olive oil fields in the world.
A four days experience with presentations on quality, and healthy attributes of the extra virgin olive oil. Further more participants had the opportunity to experience olives harvesting, olive oil extraction in our olive mill, cooking show from the famous Chef Dimitrios Scarmoutsos and many more interactive activities. Participants from 14 countries had a unique "olive oil experience" and already are looking forward to our next conference.

New award for Terra Creta in Czech Republic
The first place was awarded to Terra Creta PDO Kolymvari Extra Virgin Olive Oil at the test that was organized by the leading Czech magazine Tydenik Kvety.
Experienced olive oil sommeliers tested the leading brands of the Czech market for their sensory quality (taste, aroma, color). It is important to note that the samples were taken from supermarket shelves instead of samples that were submitted by producers, highlighting the real picture of the olive oil offering in the Czech market.
The magazine Tydenik Kvety is the leading lifestyle magazine in Czech Republic with 85.000 copies per publication. Terra Creta was established in 2001 at Hania, Crete, Greece. Having a clear exporting orientation and a philosophy based in premium quality and innovation, managed only in a few years to expand to more than 20 countries around the world and to be awarded in various international competitions. Since 2010, Terra Creta operates from the newly built, state-of-the-art Olive Oil Mill and Bottling facilities having vertical control over the production of the Kolymvari region. The installment of innovative machinery and procedures has put Terra Creta at the forefront of Premium quality olive oil producers.

Terra Creta has been certified under the KRAV standard, from BIOHELLAS. KRAV is a very strict standard for Organic Extra Virgin Olive OIl production and bottling, and is obligatorry in the Swedish market.

New International Award for the Terra Creta Organic Olive Oil
In the recent tasting competition BIOL INTERNATIONAL 2011, the Terra Creta Organic PDO Kolymvari Extra Virgin Olive Oil, has been Awarded with the International Prize “Best Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oils”.
This Award is very important since BIOL INTERNATIONAL 2011, took place in the city of ANDRIA in Italy, with more than 380 participants from 19 countries, covering almost all the olive oil production regions.
